Smokey Smokehouse is a small artisan producer located in Katikati in the Bay of Plenty.
The preservation of fish has been an integral part of every seafaring culture. Over the course of thousands of years of drying, salting and smoking fish the technique has developed to a point where once common food has become a delicacy, using modern day technology.
Using our time proven recipe, the delicious and tender fillets are hot smoked using natural Manuka woodchips.
Our product has no artificial additives, no sugar and is gluten free. We fillet our locally sourced fish before smoking providing a very convenient end product.
